It has been a lovely day......my birthday. I usually don't enjoy the day, but today was especially nice. Received many cards; hand delivered, snail mail and e-mail. Even got to Skype with my youngest son and his family. That is so much fun....almost as good as a real visit and far better than no visit at all.

Had a class this afternoon; we worked on the Mix & Mingle Kit I posted pix of the other day. The project is a lot of work but they sure turn out nice. Great gifts for someone special on your gift list.

I will post photos of my upcoming classes tomorrow. We're making Christmas cards with one little project thrown in for good measure. Fun stuff!!!

Time to put the tired bod to bed.

Friday Facts

Had a wonderful Open House on Wednesday. Everyone has their new Idea Books with ooohs and aaahs for Olivia and Magnifique. Mistletoe and Hooligans samples were enjoyed as well; the felt monsters are a hit. Can't wait to start September workshops and clubs so everyone can play with all the goodies.

My CTMH Open House is tomorrow!!! Another new Idea Book into your hands...woohooo!!! Can't wait for you to see all the new "stuff". You're gonna love it and I'm going to love showing you how to use it. From Recipe Boxes to Christmas ornaments, you're not going to want to miss a moment of what I have planned for you.

Challenge is a work in progress

I just returned from Close to My Heart's Annual Convention in Washington DC. The wash is done, the paperwork is completed, my head is still spinning and I knew I had to jump on a challenge that my downline Jodi posed to me the last day. She challenged me to have my own blog up and running within 6 weeks. All of us are realizing that social networking is the way to go so, here goes. Jodi....it's a work in progress but it's up and running. Hope you'll come to visit often to keep me on my toes.
